Camp Whitney

A new park recently opened up in Rocklin for the kidders. They call it Camp Whitney, although I'm not really sure why. Nonetheless, it's easy to remember, and Spencer always want to know the names of things. Our friends across the street invited us to a picnic in the park, and we all decided to go check it out. The kids loved it and I can definitely see ourselves spending a lot of time at this new park.

It is a little overwhelming at first, but the park is set up so that the kids can't just take off. Spencer had a blast climbing around all the ladders, ropes, and rock walls, and Abigail tried her best to keep up to her bigger brother. Spencer also got some baseball practice in before lunch. He's quite the lil'slugger, and he's a lefty. We might just see him in the majors someday. There was more food then you knew what to do with, and it was great spending the day with all the friends from our block. The kids didn't want to leave and they can't wait to go back. Next time we're bringing the kite.
